We honour Leonard Hedley Wilde, who was born 26 September 1928 and who
passed away peacefully on 19 July 2011. As a founder of the original
earthmoving business that has become Wilde Civil, we remember him
with pride, love and affection. May he rest in peace.

This photograph was taken in 1968 at Boomi in North-Western NSW on completion of the landmark power line project for the North West County Council. Len, his brother Ron, and their team cleared over 400 miles of land for the installation of power lines in Garah, Boomi, and Toobeah through to Boggabilla. The men drove two TD20 dozers and a crew of fencers accompanied them undoing and rebuilding fences as the work was completed. This historic project took six months to complete. |
